Pradiip has worked as a Consultant and World Humanitarian Summit Project Assistant at the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs – Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean(OCHA-ROLAC). As a Consultant he developed a Latin American and Caribbean private sector network strategy; researched and drafted a substantive mapping of regional private sector actors; and supported the development of a methodology and proposed agenda for an initial exchange/workshop with regional private sector actors and key humanitarian actors.

As a World Humanitarian Summit Project Assistant, he conducted research into private sector activities in the region concerning emergency preparedness and response and opportunities to increase and improve humanitarian partnerships with the private sector; supported preparations for and participated in the World Humanitarian Summit (WHS) Latin American and Caribbean Regional Business Consultation (Lima, Peru) and Global Business Consultation (New York); assisted in the drafting of studies, background papers, and policy guidelines, including a Humanitarian Guide for Businesses, a Road Map for Private Sector Engagement in Emergency Preparedness and Response in Latin America and the Caribbean, Policy Instruction on Identifying Suitable Private-Sector Partnerships, etc.
